I think you're right about the similarity between english and chinese ancient language when it comes to verses or poems. I sometimes feel modern chinese is less powerful in expression, less neat and tend to be prolix / s6 e2 H8 |6 h( B. m 3 D+ g' O$ ~3 o: u% s9 D7 j9 @and I like the idea of yours that we communicate more here 1 Z( @ @( G$ l) ~0 l4 Q. p
